Functions and Attention of Reach Trucks
Reach trucks have the advantages of non-pollution, low noise, high energy conversion efficiency, easy operation and so on. It can carry out high stacking operation in limited working space, which cannot be compared with counterbalance forklift trucks and stacker trucks. Counterbalance forklift trucks with the same tonnage need more space, while stacker trucks work at a relatively low height, therefore, to complete the high shelf stacking in limited working space, the reach forklift truck is the best choice.
(1) In the use of reach truck, special attention should be paid to timely charging of the battery and proper maintenance of the battery. Battery charging should pay attention to the method, not only to make the battery fully charged, but also can not cause the battery overcharge.
(2) In the operation of the forklift truck, try to use the long time and long distance acceleration, when the vehicle starts, the speed increase, hold the accelerator pedal, such as the road conditions are good, the vehicle will continue to accelerate. When the vehicle needs to decelerate, relax the accelerator pedal and lightly step on the brake pedal, so that the energy of deceleration can be fully utilised, and if the vehicle has the function of regenerative braking, the kinetic energy of deceleration can be recovered. Vehicles in the ramp down, do not disconnect the drive motor circuit, gently step on the brake pedal, so that the vehicle running in the regenerative braking state, the use of vehicles down the kinetic energy, reducing the energy consumption of the battery.
(3) When the forklift is running, do not mistake the "forward, reverse" direction switch for the steering switch. Do not press the brake pedal directly to the bottom unless it is necessary to slow down in an emergency. When the battery is found to be insufficiently charged during the operation of the vehicle (which can be obtained through the power meter, power loss indicator and other alarm devices), the battery should be recharged as soon as possible to prevent the battery from being over-discharged.
